near the end of march i finished up a 5 week internship at the most well re-known illustration agency in sydney, The Drawing Book. it was such a thrill ride that gave me an eye-opening epilogue to what could be a future career. i was like in candyland, being shown works by some of the best locally and internationally. in the end, the hard work and intense mental toughness and concetration has continued to rub in, eventhough in minimal proportions.
yet while i was critically praised that i do have the talent to make it in the industry, there was still continued learning to be had.
close but not there yet.
up until recently i recieved another interest from a different agency, all i have to do now is spend more time digesting all that i have learned and realize the artist i want to be.
its all up to me now i guess.
and i gotta say getting the hang of some of the tools is making it more exciting to progress towards that standard.
still very nice to see some interest from DB recently, and i dont really want to let them down.
well i better start posting so at least i can monitor my progress here!
"happy drawing" is what i tell myelf when shifting from first to third person.
oh and i am looking forward to supernova 2009. its been a while, but heck should be good.
also transformers 2 is coming, as well as ghostbusters on ps3.
Nerd Alert!! fanboy in me is coming out!
lol
some great movies and games so far!
